Sheri has served as Chugach’s Chairman since 1998. In addition, she serves as a board director for the Alaska Federation of Natives, Copper Mountain Foundation, Native American Contractor’s Association (alternate), Russian Orthodox Sacred Sites in Alaska (ROSSIA), Silver Salmon Creek Leadership Institute, The Tatitlek Corporation, and as the Chair for the University of Alaska Board of Regents. Sheri resides in Anchorage and her family is originally from the Village of Tatitlek.

Matt has served on the Chugach Board of Directors since 2005 and is the Vice Chairman. He holds an MBA and is the owner and Business Consultant for Alaska Corporate Consulting as well as the CEO for Pedro Bay Corporation. Matt resides in Anchorage and his family is originally from Cordova.

Violet has served on the Chugach Board of Directors since 2005 and is the Corporate Treasurer and Audit & Finance Committee Chair. Additionally, she serves as a board director for the Alaska Community Action on Toxins and works as a Tribal Technical Assistance Specialist for Miami Environmental and Energy Solutions. Violet resides in Anchorage and is from the Village of Port Graham.

Julie is the President/CEO of the Alaska Federation of Natives and first served on the Chugach Board of Directors from 1982-1988 and has since served from 2005 to present. Additionally, she serves as a Commissioner for the Denali Commission and as a director for Starlink Initiative Limited, a Division of Space Explorations Technologies Corporation. Julie resides in Anchorage and her family is originally from the historic village of Nuchek.

Brenda has served on the Chugach Board of Directors since 2014. Additionally, she serves as a Director for One Nation Walking Together and is a member of the Shareholder Advisory Committee for The Eyak Corporation. Brenda is currently retired and resides in Colorado; her family is originally from Cordova.

• Sheila has served on the Chugach Board of Directors since 2021 and Chairs the Compensation and Governance, Oversight & Improvement Committees. Sheila is originally from Cordova and now resides in Anchorage where she is retired from the financial industry.

• Anna has served on the Chugach Board of Directors since 2022. She is a commercial fisherman, private pilot, practicing artist, and filmmaker. She also serves as Faculty at the Institute of American Indian Arts, a writer for WGBH Television network, is founder/Board President of First Light Alaska and as is a Board Member for Becharof Corporation. Anna resides in Anchorage and her family is originally from Cordova.

• Connie has served on the Chugach Board of Directors since 2023. Connie is retired and resides in Seward, with family originally from Port Graham.

Tomas has served on the Chugach Board of Directors since 2024. He holds a Master of Education and is the Instructional Coordinator for the Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District. Tomas resides in Anchorage and his family is originally from Cordova.

Jonathan is a values-driven, visionary growth leader with more than 25 years of progressive leadership and business development experience in the aerospace, defense, and intelligence contracting industries. As CEO, he is responsible for overseeing Chugach’s business enterprise, including its portfolio of operating companies and investments, and the 4,500 employees who support them. He works in close collaboration with the Board of Directors leadership team to establish strategy, inspire best-in-class operations, and deliver long-term growth and value on behalf of shareholders.

Angie oversees the planning, implementation, management and control of the corporation’s financial activities. She has more than 18 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting and finance. In her spare time, she is an active community volunteer for organizations like the Alaska Run for Women and YWCA.

With more than 25 years of combined leadership and management experience, Peter has held the position of President at Chugach Alaska Services and senior leadership positions at UIC Arctic Response Services and Alyeska Pipeline Service Company. In these roles, he has continuously led a dedicated workforce of professionals and subject matter experts in operations, maintenance, training and safety providing services to large, complex client organizations. A lifelong Alaskan born and raised in Cordova, Alaska, Peter spent many years as a commercial fisherman in Prince William Sound, Kodiak Island and the Bering Sea.

As President of Chugach Government Solutions, Dirk is responsible for driving strategic growth within Chugach’s federal government contracting business line. Dirk has more than 25 years of experience as an executive leader, strategist and coach specializing in the development and execution of rapid-growth strategies for the Defense and National Security industry. Before entering the defense industry, he served 11 years as a special operations officer in the Intelligence Community and was also a Port Security Officer in the Coast Guard Reserve.

Kathy has been with Chugach for over 25 years. She brings more than 35 years of finance and accounting experience to the team. She is also active in the local business community including involvement in the local Rotary.

Melissa is responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting, central treasury, and for maintaining sound accounting records and comprehensive internal controls at Chugach. She has been with the company for eight years, and has more than 21 years of experience in accounting and finance. She has been an active community member, serving on the Blood Bank of Alaska’s Board of Directors for seven years.

Millie is an original Chugach shareholder, and joined the company in 2001. Her role includes empowering Chugach shareholders and descendants through employment, scholarship, training and mentorship programs. She is proud to play a hand in mentoring and serving the next generation of Chugach leaders.

John works to ensure cultural preservation, documentation and propagation for the Chugach Region. He has over 40 years of experience helping Chugach reclaim historical sites and artifacts, and serves as a global ambassador for the Chugach people. In his spare time, John likes to plan and design improvements for Nuuciq Spirit Camp, which he established and developed over the last 25 years.

A Chugach shareholder originally from Cordova, Katherine is tasked with driving operational performance for Chugach’s commercial businesses. She began her Chugach career in 2005 supporting the federal division’s finance department and quickly advanced to hold numerous leadership roles across the organization. Katherine currently serves as co-chair of Native American Contractors Association (NACA) and as the local board member of the Selective Service System for the State of Alaska. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting, master’s certificate in executive leadership, and recently graduated from Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.

Pamela joined Chugach in 2024, and provides counsel and leadership regarding all legal and risk matters to support Chugach’s mission and growth initiatives. She possesses an extensive background in corporate law and risk management, combined with a deep commitment to the values and vision of Alaska Native Corporations. Pamela holds multiple degrees in political science-public service, education and law from the University of California, Davis, Western Washington University and University of the Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law.

With more than 25 years of finance and operations experience, Gwen rose through the ranks of Chugach for more than two decades before her appointment to Chugach Commercial Holdings (CCH) Vice President of Operations. Prior to becoming Vice President, Gwen served for three years as the finance leader for CCH and in numerous leadership roles in Chugach’s government division. As a strategic advisor, Gwen provides oversight, support, and guidance to Chugach’s portfolio of commercial companies operating across the facilities maintenance and Alaska oil and gas industries.
